i just started a few weeks ago. it's definitely a big change from layer-based compositing. however, it all makes a lot of sense. i see each node as a pre-comp or a null layer.

 

i haven't tried natron, but i'll look into it!

Jeez, I like After Effects but Resolve really seems to be a bit of a beast. I never do rotoscoping but this is pretty cool.
