Apple to start making its own displays (MicroLED), Samsung to lose billions

Damn, one of Samsung’s biggest revenue streams (almost 7% of all profits) will be gone because of this. Interesting to see how they’ll manage with this major loss. Samsung makes more off making iPhones screens than it does its own flagship devices.

Samsung is entering the television OLED business, so this is easily offset.

Wow, I had no idea Apple had such little effect on Samsung's bottomline.

This is truly nothing concerning.

Samsung makes more off iPhones than their flagships. If you think 7% of profits is no big deal, no wonder you work at the IT Help Desk. They recently experienced a 23% drop recently. Coupled with this, we’re looking at a much larger number moving forward.

And since then, iPhone market share has increased while Galaxy phones have gone down in sales.

That’s right, Samsungs flagship phones account for less than 7% of its profit. For mobile sales, 90% of their profit comes from phones under $399.99. The crap they sell to Asia.

Which is more than they made of their flagship, as I’ve already proven.

Anywho, not here for debate. Samsung isn’t even relevant in the US.

Thanks for the nothing burger.

You typed this thread because you were thinking about Samsung, that's the WHOLE reason behind this thread.

I take great satisfaction in you practically admitting this.:banderoos:

Real talk, these screens are going to be jaw dropping. Apple is already the best in the biz with displays, this is about to be the m chip of displays. Rumor has it they’re moving to their own modems as well, guarantee they’re (by far) the most efficient and one of, if not the fastest modems. :banderoos:
