i sorta didn't realize that movie was already coming out. Like I knew it was sometime in april, I thought later in April.

 

I only saw one commercial this past week, for the movie.

 

It doesn't seem like they've invested in alot of tv advertising, compared to the amount of commercials you'd see for Avatar or a Marvel movie. You see commercials for those about every 20 minutes on tv.

 

Its almost as if they knew they didn't need to spend that much because they were seeing ticket demand through the roof.

 

I think the second week and third week numbers are going to be shocking some people.

The epic flop of the 93 movie had a long lasting effect on thier movie plans. 

I vaguely recall Nintendo and Sony even going to partner up and make a Mario movie. Not even sure what happened with that.
