50/50 on watching it. How spoiler heavy is it? The original game's marketing campaign gave way too much away for my liking

I mean it's basically just setting up the continuation from the first game... pretty much all stuff you likely already know about.  No big spoilers IMO.

EDIT: Cool trailer! First game had arguably my fav Spiderman story outside of Spiderverse and this looks like it could even top it. 

I'm still not a giant fan of the new look for Peter Parker though, honestly looks like a young Nathan Drake to me.

MJ looks like she's pushing 50 and Peter looks like he's still in high school so seeing them interacting with each other makes MJ looking like she robbing the crib.

 

I never really understood the change to Peter. He looked fine before and I personally think the original looks better. Apparently they wanted him to look more like Yuri but they made Peter look too young. Throw a beard on him or something.

 

But whatever, I don't really have much interest in this game so I wasn't going to play it to begin with. Thought the previous games were overrated.

I don't know why lemmings keep on trashing graphics on Insomniac games before the game releases.

 

I think Insomniac purposely baits them into thinking the graphics aren't going to great with one trailer, and then they show another trailer even closer to launch in which they are do look great.

 

Venom suit texture now looks much better and accurate.

 

And, like I said, the game just looks better in the nighttime scenes.
