Do you think we need a new videogame crash in order to cleanse the industry?

 Been seeing several youtube videos about how the 2nd videogame crash is unfolding. 

 

 Because the whole industry has been corrupted by corporate greed so people are tired of being ripped off, tired of microtransactions, shoddy launches, etc.

 

 I feel like the industry needs to burn to allow a fresh start.

More like the typical AAA western business model is dying. Everyone else is doing fine. A Chinese dev managed to sell 10 million copies of their game (Wu Kong).

 

It's the big mainstream publishers that sucks dicks. Like WB and their Suicide Squad massive flop, Ubishit with Star Wars OutlawsButterface, Sony with Concord.

 

The industry is extremely profitable. Just not for phoneys and their shitty, over marketed products.

It's basically Nintendo and indie devs that make the worthwhile games now.
