is stellar blade worth buying?

Recommended Posts

i'm only asking the people who played it (if any lol). apparently, like wukong, it has fun combat and bosses. if that's the case, i'll get it once i fully complete wukong (finishing hidden bosses and a few questlines).

Yep definitely worth it. Don't listen to the retard above. Best action game I’ve played since DMC5 and Nier Automata. It’s really good and has amazing music and creative boss designs. You’ll love it, I can’t recommend it enough.

That’s exactly what one of my friends said. He’s one of the peeps who got me into Wukong, so that’s why I wanted to check this out.

Desert areas are a drag but the other areas are solid but linear. There's also a lot of side content but a large chunk of it is bland side quests.

Game's main strength is obviously the combat system and I think the combat and boss fights are a lot better than Wukong. Every boss in Stellar Blade is threatening, there are no pushovers. The combat has a lot more depth to it compared to Wukong because of all the extra tools and options you have.

i was already sold, but this made me extra sold. wukong does have like 1 strong boss per 9 weak ones, so i'm all in!

The bosses in Stellar Blade are actually surprisingly easy compared to other similar games. The parry mechanics and timing window were pretty forgiving.

What difficulty did you play on? Because I remember the later half of the bosses getting pretty rough and the final boss was a real pain in the ass.

The Parry and Dodge upgrades made timings more forgiving but you don't start with those.

Pretty sure I played on normal. I honestly suck at action games but I found this one pretty manageable.

I did explore a lot and completed most of the side quests, so I had a lot of upgrades which probably helped.

I dig games that incentivize exploration, especially when it makes hard bosses easier.

Ahh, I didn't bother to do a lot of the side quests because so many of them are just bland and boring. Plus motherfuckers just wanna talk too much. I wasn't trying to listen to that, I just wanted to kill shit LOL.
