"Xbox is such a mess right now, I feel like their plan is changing every single year. Right now they're talking about teasing handheld over and over again but who knows? A year ago, they were saying Indiana Jones was never coming to PlayStation so like, they change their minds every month. They're just a disaster over there, it's really sad. "

Absolutely.  They have no clear path ahead.  Basically fucking with their own fanbase's feeings by giving them false hope that things they're doing are just situational... whereas they're simply flailing about not knowing what they're doing or committing to any solid path forward.

I think they are announcing new hardware this December. A handheld and new console. Most likely starting next generation in 2025 or at least for them. I suspect they will market it as a successor to the XBOX360. 20 year anniversary for that console next November. Makes me feel old, lol :willcucked:

I think they are pretty much done with this generation. The Series systems have sold a little over 30 million in 3 and half years+ and if I had to guess will end up at around 35 to 40 million by the end of next year. Crazy how even with all the screw ups, their gaming division is healthier now than it has ever been. The revenue stream is now in the $20B+ range and they command 30+ dev houses. We'll see if they get back on track in 2025 or 2026.

Crazy what spending billions of dollars to buy other extremely profitable publishers does to your revenue figures
