“Horizon IP makes Lego games not fun” - Gamespot

Having now played about an hour of Lego Horizon Adventures, it feels like a game with great ideas that are restricted by the IP it's based on. I love the world of Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West, but the opening hour of Lego Horizon often feels like its setting and characters are clashing with the comedic creativity and gameplay loop that so many Lego games excel at.

Lego games were always designed with kids in mind playing with parents or something. They are very basic games.

Horizon, and Aloy in particular's serious tone is definitely the worst thing about the games. I didn't get very far into Forbidden West cause I got sick of her constantly telling people to go away, she has do this herself, etc.

I don’t like how Guerilla is trying to push this franchise. Killzone is more iconic than this will ever be, and the crossover is still odd.
