3 hours in, and it's just going down a straight line fighting enemies along the way with a cut scene at the end. I don't even get to level up yet. WTF.

seriously. you can gather cp from battles but there were a bunch of times where i maxed out a character's crystarium but the next tier remained lock because i didn't hit a invisible checkpoint in the story. shit is retarded as fuck.

I would only use Sazh and Vanille for most of the game and it got to the point where everyone else had 999,999 CP and I didn't realize it capped out until the end of the game. So I potentially lost millions of CP for all my other characters. :]

In the beginning the crysterium system is locked. Once unlocked is when you can level up. Leveling is different. You earn crysterium points per battle. You can use them at any time to increase you stats. Each crysterium has a level. There are 10 total levels. You can't even unlock the 10th level until after you beat the game which is stupid IMO.

Not sure if I spelled crysterium correctly.

I played NG+ for a bit then I started on Valkyria Chronicles. Got pretty far but the battles were getting long. So I stopped so i can get started on FFXIII. I finished chapter 11 but I didn't leave gran pulse yet. I want do some CP grinding.

The dude kidnaps the princess and you have to destroy the transport vehicle without explosives. Any good strats to do this mission? All my units hardly do any damage to it.

Ah yeah, I should really get back into VC. I never knew it had a suspend feature until someone here brought it up and some battles would take WAY too long.
