His Majesty 3
i will get gta 5 over the weekend. still playing sleeping dogs i like how you can do both gang/cop missions. definitely finish sleeping dogs first it would be a shame to leave it hanging also i would take a wild guess that sleeping dogs might have the edge on GTA V in terms of the overall feeling you get from being in a foreign country, definitely feels somewhat fresher... JonB 150
You think p4a controls aren't easy ? It's more the actions that happen with button presses imo, because it's kinda different
MNDWSH 2
Sleeping dogs is a much tighter experience than gta5. I'm playing super Mario 3d land and gta5

It's more the actions that happen with button presses imo, because it's kinda different They're awkward. Really awkward especially if you're coming straight from BB. I had to reassign the face buttons to BB's layout because the default layout felt way too foreign but in doing that I completely changed the way you have to do dual button inputs. Speaking of which, do you have BB CSEX? If so we should get some games in sometime.
puertorock_papi 2
I had enough of Alan Wake. Terrible game. 90% walking with the occasional possessed hatchet guy or floating barrels attacking you. Oh wait a flock of crows. My God this game suck. It's obvious the game is meant for the story but damn the story is terrible. It's not interesting at all. Fuck this game. I'm sending it back to Gamefly. I'm moving onto......TLOU which was given toe as a gift

It was originally supposed to be an open world game and all that jazz (you can actually see traces of this in some of the levels) but the xbox struck again!

No, Remedy just made a bland and boring game that was more about showcasing it's tech instead of being a well designed and entertaining game. This becomes completely obvious after spending an hour with the game. Xbox had nothing to do with Alan Wake sucking, Remedy just isn't that good of a developer. I was half joking, but we can't really expect a game to take such a dramatic shift in direction and still be good.
Twinblade★ 4,052
i liked alan wake. its way more interesting than the majority of games being released nowadays.
Guest Golem
i liked alan wake. its way more interesting than the majority of games being released nowadays. No it isn't. It's a bore. A major disappointment considering it's from the same people who made Max Payne 2.
Guest C.M.
the most surprising thing about Alan Wake is how bad the facial animations, dialogue, voice acting and story are. It kinda exposes Remedy for what they really are, a smaller studio (compared to AAA game developers)
His Majesty 3
i liked alan wake too but its definitely NOT for everyone i loved the bad story bits that reminded me of stephen king, it was obviously done on purpose. the atmosphere was good , the music was amazing the combat though was horrible :(
Twinblade★ 4,052
its got better writing and story than the majority of modern games (though the climax was disappointing). I really liked the atmosphere and setting as well. the gameplay is the weakest aspect because theres too much combat and not enough variety. Still not enough to drag the game down. its a solid 8.0 in my books also why the hell are you hating on this game all of a sudden CM? you defended it vehemently even after the hype died down after release. also, remedy has over 100 employees. thats not small at all. Guest C.M.
I still think its a good game, probably give it a 7/10 Edited September 18, 2013 by -CM-
-SK4- 5
I personally think it's the RE4 of this gen.
