Mr. House 3,371
Spare me your criticism. Chrono Trigger is my childhood, some of the best gaming memories I have.
Twinblade★ 4,200
So I'm 5 hours into chrono trigger. It's good, and I like all the different times (and events that have happened) that you explore. I don't love it though. Does it get better as it progresses? The story does get better. Other than that, the game doesn't evolve much in terms of gameplay, you'll get a ship that allow you to travel to different time as you wish and you'll learn new double/triple techs, get more party members. Eh I'll keep playing. While a charming game, the gameplay feels so blah. The techs are cool, but I'm not that big on the combat. I can only play the game in like 30 minute chunks. i agree actually. Its a very simple game. Maybe for its time it was special but today it really doesn't do anything impressive.

I played it for the first time early this year and that was my take on it too. I lasted about 6 hours before quitting.

-GD-X★ 8,305
Hey, I hold certain games in high regard, due to nostalgia. I'm sure many do the same.
soup 105
CT is only like 20 hours. It's short enough where the combat doesn't get too monotonous. But I enjoyed it so who knows. iirc kill yourself. Edited August 25, 2013 by -CM²-

Can't wait for DLC/Sequel Are the side quests (with the exception of Loyalty) missions worth sticking with? Ive done all of them up to Shaundi so far but doing the same few tasks for another 3+ characters seems like a bummer but the little voiced bits I like ;(

They're nice because you unlock some gear/guns. Like the energy sword and singularity gun. I did all the activities (which are basically the non loyalty side quests) then started doing the side quests. So all I had to do when they came up, was just accept and turn in lol. Also. BEWARE OF THE NEW UPDATE! It bugs any pre order dlc, and your weapons. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6yqLKGj8-s Edited August 27, 2013 by Kzero
soup 105
Lmao that might be the way to do it then. That way I won't need to go back to the ship every 3 missions.
