Mike Haggar (THA) 0
DoA is deeper then SF. SF is outdated and boring. DoA has lots of depth because it has a parrying system and above all it is funt to play because it isn't to hard and you don't need to learn 3320898930409832 moves like in (lol) Tekken. And cows have never played DoA so they shouldn't be arguing against us

There's also a lot of combos (lol moves) in DOA, as far as i know, i think you're the one who never played the game.
Mike Haggar (THA) 0
People might say SF is good because it's a "timeless classic" but fact is you just like it because of nostalgia. I didn't play it before modern fighters so I don't have nostalgia for it unlike you so I know better then you. Playing it today just feels awkward. You cant do combos properly, like if you press the same button over and over again, or even different buttons the character will not do a combo like in a normal fighter. Instead the character just does the same move applied to that button over and over again no matter the order you press it in. This leads the game to being a button masher since it doesn't matter how fast/ in which order/how many buttons you press. Lol nostalgia filled oldies.... Move with the times. Not strange since you cows thinks everything is old because pos2 is outdated hahahahaa and pos3 to even though it was released after xbox 360. not that you have it since you cant afford it. If you don't want to read this post a summary is: TCHBR
Mr. House 3,371
What the fuck does nostalgia have to do with the gameplay? Also, most of us consider SF: Third Strike as the best one there is but it's kind of hard to relate to it with ''nostalgia'' since it only feature a handful of characters from the SF2, (Chun-Li, Ken/Ryu/Akuma). ...and what you said could apply to every single fighting game in existence. Yes, when you press a button in doa/Tekken/VF/SF/Guilty Gear it does the attack that was made it to do, now you can mix the attack together to make combos... the same apply to all fighting except some of them put more emphasis to it. klw,ugq kqwu You're fucking cluless and obviously not worth wasting time arguing with. If you don't want to read this post a summary is: TCHBR There are combos in SF but they are not the punch, punch, punch, kick. More like fireball, low hurracane kick, low dragon punch. Doa is shallow because moves are easy and the hard ones are useless.

kokujin 558
You guys care way too much about which fighter franchise has more merit and blah blah. They're all fun games and they don't have to be critically acclaimed for you to enjoy them.

But their console doesn't even have online so how do they show it off?? Oh yhea does Tekken have online? :D
Tyrion Sex Appeal 4
To hard=fun? I don't think so...Read the title, the thread is about how shallow the game is, not how fun. DOA is a ton of fun with four people but it's really frustrating that some one button moves are so overpowered.
