  1.

I've been looking into the Persona series. Seems either 3 or 4 are the ones to go with. Thoughts?

P3 Is probably the deepest one, havent played P4 Golden thou.

P4 is a brighter P3 (in every sense of the word) with less repetitive dungeon design more or less.

I really want to play it but I finished P3 Portable (3rd run) a couple of weeks before Golden came out, I am sick of Persona atm.

  2. Started playing darksiders 2, so far so good the story is better; glad to see other colors. One thing I like about Vigil characters is that they are chunky, they have a certain depth, they feel heavy almost WoW like. Not sure if the formula has gotten old but the zelda like dungeons are starting to get boring.

My biggest problems are the camera, sometimes it feels like it tries to make you fail a jump and the other is some of the glitches, gotten stuck in geometry too much and in places that shouldnt even be a problem. Other than that is a good game, better than D1.

  3. got Binary domain in the mail saturday :ben:

been busy with dat NNK, I love that game :juggle:

I have been taking my sweet time with it so far, I am running into the same issues I have with Pokemon games, I want to level every fucking thing I get :ben:

The difficulty spikes in NNK are so random, you'll be raping enemies then when you get into a new area you'll get 2 shotted.

happenned to me yesterday, I wish there was a visual indicator before running into enemies

  4. Been spending quite a bit of time with Rage, and I'm having a blast. Currently at Subway City, and still going strong. Love the graphics, and the glorious 60 FPS :glad:, it's a damn shame about the texture pop-ins though.

Love the shooting though, VERY reminiscent of classic id games such as Doom and Quake despite all the fancy gadgetry, inventory managements, and crafting system.

The driving is cool as fuck too... :smoke:

Great game. I'll give it an 8.5 so far.

that game didnt click with me for some reason, the shooting is nice, the world looks aight, its a quality game, but for some reason it never clicked with me
  5. Benn playing Enslaved, got to Chapter 6. Decent game, the framerate can get pretty awful at times, and I recall having to restart my game because Monkey was getting stuck. Game's still fun though, and I like the simple platforming...because I fucking hate platformers.

Gonna try out Mark of the Ninja soon...

    Enslaved

    Game is great

    when you get

    Underrated game

  6. So I played DUST514 for a couple of hours yesterday - The initial weapons suck massively, it kinda made me want to put the game down and play something else. But that change once I got a hold of better rifles and smgs. - Spawn Points are not a problem, but they seen too far apart, maps are too big for the number of players. - RangeoF makes a difference, I am used to BF3 and other FPS where having an SMG means high recoil, fire rate but not very good in med to long range. in BF3 you can still kill people if you have a steady hand and are pacient enough, in Dust bullets dissapear beyond the range of fire. Multiple times I found myself wondering if it was a glitch because I would start shooting, nothing would hit, then I would walk 2-3 meters then I would make contact, fuck that. If you are going to be a FPS at least get the basics right. - Vehicles control like shit, its like a really floaty version of the Warhog. - The game doesnt run as smooth as Id like it to be considering the graphics its pushing. It has potential in it systems and the way it could work with the rest of the Eve universe, but I doubt most people will be willing to endure the first hour. Gonna marathon NNK this weekend

  7. tried ni no kuni last night,

I like it, like I mentioned before it is like the Pokemon game that we never got. I like the combat its not hard or easy, strikes a good balance.

    also dl'ed DmC demo

I havent read much about it, but I thought it was decent what I played; the graphics were ok; not sure if I like the yellowish palette. Combat same old DMC, guns, light, heavy attack; not much has changed since DMC (last I played). I think the whole platforming elements are kinda lame.

What'd you play ni no kuni on? Thought it wasn't out out west

demo is out on psn, 2 missions; 2.5GB dl thou
