jehurey 3,318 Posted March 18, 2021 Share Posted March 18, 2021 Yeah, at that point you come to the realization that you now have to start getting physical disc 4K UHD blu-rays. Movies on cable tv, and on streaming are in Dolby Digital + format. They could still have Atmos metadata, but the quality of the audio is compressed DD+. To have fully umcompressed audio, that would be Dolby True HD with Dolby Atmos metadata on top of that.........that is only found on 4K UHD blu rays. Link to post Share on other sites

It's not labeled. 95% of their original shows or new movies on Amazon Prime Video is streamed with Dolby Atmos.
