Cooke 2,041
New York went balls to the wall lockdown, has a smaller population and still ended up with 15 000 more deaths. Did the lockdown help or hurt? Edited April 21, 2021 by Cooke
Twinblade★ 3,991
Amazing how Cuomo wrote a book about how well he handled the pandemic, yet he manipulated data & contributed to thousands of nursing home deaths. How this guy hasn't been ousted and arrested for that is kind of baffling. but theres a lot of interesting data out there California had some of the most draconian lockdown policies in the country and somehow ended up with case/death numbers on par with Florida, which was fully open for a while and has no mask mandate. Texas has also been open with no mask mandate and its COVID case #s continue to plummet while numbers are surging in many other states Everyone was blaming republican states & leadership for the surges last year but they're the ones who are suffering less now and have gotten on top of things.
