Yakuza 0 is easily my favorite in the series, it resonated a lot with me in terms of story, more so than usual and also it's a logical game to start with. Story wise it is a prequel to the first game. BUT Judgment and especially Lost Judgment are way nicer technically speaking, Yakuza 0 was a cross gen PS3-PS4 game (in Japan) and it feels somewhat dated in comparison.
