In fact, the only reason they may be somewhat competitive in the US is that due to the shortages it's impossible to find a PS5 anywhere. I'm sure if Sony could get their stock situation in order they'd be outselling Xbox 3 or 4 to 1 in the US instead of the 2 to 1 they are currently averaging.
