Pretty much the perfect choice lol...  He's also been begging to do it for years now.

 

If they don't go with him, I dunno what to say.

 

It's kinda like Henry Cavill with The Witcher.... when the lead actor is THAT into the series, you know they're going to give it their all... and while I'm skeptical that a Gears show, or movie would be anything other than a train wreck, making smart casting choices certainly helps its chances.

He doesn't look like Marcus Fenix. And he kinda doesn't act like him either.

 

Better off making an entirely different character. Or making him Dom.
