Ya’ll got any tips for skills? I’m a rogue, and right now I have 2 ranged skills and 2 melee skills. I’m not sure if I should spec in a direction to focus on melee or ranged, or if I should just mix and match both.

    Puncture

    Twirling Blades

    Dash

Shadow Imbuement (use with Dash to put it on multiple mobs)

    Dark Shroud

Shadow Clone (felt like a waste with how fast stuff was dying, but if you need some umph for elites/bosses it's strong)

    Victimize

That was my build for most of the campaign. I've swapped over to the meta build that drops Shadow Imbuement for Shadow Step, Shadow Clone for Poison Trap, and Victimize for Momentum.

But like Cooke said, just swap around and see what feels good and don't be afraid to mess with a new aspect.

jesus im level 38 and still havent left fractured peaks lmao, theres so many fucking quests and events to do i just dont want to leave untiil ive done them all

You can't get to world tier 3 without completing the campaign and world tier 1/2 mobs stop scaling at level 50. Play how you want, but just some info so you don't end up doing a bunch of campaign quests and getting no XP if that's not something you want to do.

Diablo's marketing has sure been something

Honestly, everywhere I look I'm seeing advertisements for this game... no wonder it's already become the fastest selling game in Blizzard's history. :whew:

I knew the marketing push was serious when they got a member of BTS for their "anthem."

World Tier 2 can be a bit tough but It sounds like thats the best way to play the game.

For enjoyment or speed? World tier 1 is the better play for speed. WT2 gives mobs double health while you only get a 20% boost in XP. If you hit a huge power spike and are blasting elites/large packs in seconds, then switch over to WT2 and swap back to WT1 when mob health starts catching back up.

Yo is Battle Net trolling or does this shit really officially release in less than 2 hours? :ben: I thought it would be midnight at the earliest

It was the same thing with the early release date and I was just as confused. I didn't even start playing until almost 9 because I had no idea it was out. :happysad:

Definitely, though I still enjoyed the fire and lightning temples. Yeah, they are shorter than the classic ones, but were still well designed.

I don't think they're well designed, at least compared to traditional Zelda dungeons. Your objectives show up on the map and they rarely overlap. You can choose which switch you go after, but it's just a linear set of single room puzzles that don't really hold a candle to what the shrines show the mechanics are capable of. Zelda dungeons are these complex labyrinths with backtracking, mini-bosses, and "events" that just aren't there in TotK.

  7. Beat it. I really enjoyed it, but I'm still really disappointed in the temples even including the questing before you see the 'Soandso Temple' splash. They fixed the weapon problem, the shrines are great, open world quests are a lot more abundant and more interesting, but they just can't make a dungeon to save their lives.
