Well, the LG Cx got delivered today, guess what? Hdr still blows

Don't even think you need to return back the tv.

 

Assuming you paid for Best Buy's 5 year warranty, it covers burn in.

 

Which is something you can literally force upon the tv in less than a month by inducing burn-in.

 

And since its at least 55 inches, the Geek Squad member comes out to see your tv on-site, and if they do declare that its burn-in, they issue you the gift card, and they ask if you want them to take the tv away.

 

And you can actually say no, that you will dispose of it yourself. Free gift for a nephew.

I actually think their warranty does not cover burn it but I may be wrong.

it does.

 

i'm almost certain that Best Buy will realize this regarding OLEDs and remove that language in about a year or two.
