What I want is essentially the exact same game, but with vastly improved graphics. Keep the pre-rendered backgrounds with 3d turn based battles, but just crank the visuals and presentation up. Sabo 448 Posted July 24, 2023 Share Posted July 24, 2023 I was thinking more like DQ XI (the game has boats and airships). DQ XI is traditional while making smart modernizations. Throw in a X-2 style combat system with FF X's character switching, rework the materia system (I did like VIIR's materia system so just use that), and ignore all the retcons and additions the sequels added. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
