More MS email leaks: MS still trying to acquire Nintendo and possibly Valve. Playing the "long game"

This is why Xbox sucks. The higher ups are making little cute Machiavellian plots to take over other companies instead of making sure to produce good in-house softwares to support their own platform. They see video games studios has just IPs. This is why they have failed with their own franchises, this is why Halo is irrelevant, this is why Gears is forgotten. 

 

The last time Xbox higher ups cared about gaming was back in the days of Peter Moore. This is why it was also the period when MS produced their own in-house successes and brand. Made great collaborations to increase their support. Close ties with SEGA. A series of key exclusives with partners. They don't do that anymore, day one on Gaypass, good enough!
