I guess they want to be on shelves by the time the Switch 2 comes out. Maybe there's a rule that Nintendo is instituting that after a certain date, they won't allow the manufacturing and release of physical Switch 1 games when the Switch 2 comes out. And that may be the case, because remember, Nintendo is the one that manufactures these cartridges, and third-parties pay them. So maybe they're saying "put in your orders for cartridge manufacturing now, because beginning Winter 2024, we are shifting all manufacturing to Switch 2 cartridges. Switch 1 has an almost 150 million user base. Devs are going to be releasing upgrade patches for the switch 2......
