Its definitely not for me lmao. Ill go back to it. I did some of it, got the blade from the underground city. Those twin gargoyles down there :jonb: Cant beat them yet thats the hardest boss ive encountered so far.

Yeah they were tough, that's not part of Rannis quest though. But you'll need to beat them for Fia's questline. You just need to pick up the fingerslayer blade

I havent used many ashes of war yet but i havent looked into it too much. Seems the damage penalty is pretty significant with most of them.

Make sure you are levelling the stats which the weapon scales with. Eg that's a dex weapon so you should invest heavily in dex

So i played this game for a couple hours or so and i dont hate it, but idk how im gonna feel about it in the long run. I do like it much more than the other Souls games i tried. Normal enemies dont seem to challenging so far unless u get mobbed.

I do appreciate the map not being littered with bullshit to do but i also think i would like at least some sort of guidance. I feel im gonna miss a whole bunch of shit, and not know where to go or what to do next. I think im gonna have to get a fucking notebook and write shit down cause ill forget what i am to be doing .

I also dont understand basically anything about this game since ive never really played more than a small bit of the other games. I found some boss and got smashed which i expected and i havent even beat any bosses or anything. I came close to beating the first little boss guy on the horse so soon enough i suppose.

World and art is really cool but the graphics are kinda meh. Not too bad but i expected more. Ill continue on but it seems like its gonna be the type of game i will just eventually get frustrated with and quit.

Don't listen to GD, he regrets taking the loser path of overlevelling his character with farming. Level to where its challenging without being a pushover

But you should look up build types to decide which way to go and some NPC questions aren't particularly obvious so you may need to talk to them multiple times to understand what the quest is

Main things you should know that I dont think are obvious

You progress the main story following the direction of light from the sites of grace

Make sure you go to every site of grace cause thats your respawn point and where you level cause that opens up new story sometimes

Healing is done with the flasks and can be upgraded to heal more with sacred tears you find in churches

You can add more flasks with golden seeds you find throughout the world

Go back to the first church at night to get a summoning bell

    Get a crafting kit

    Dont kill NPCs

Ashes of war and magic are easy mode

Use the summoning pools when you struggle to summon coop partners - they are the little statues that are usually at the start of a dungeon

Levels with priority into either intelligence (magic), arcane (blood magic and dragon magic), faith (holy incantations), dexterity for fast baby weapons or strength for big boy weapons

Dont neglect levelling your vigor for more health and stamina to increase the weight of weapons and armour you can carry without fat rolling

Find weapons and armour which scale with your primary stat

Maps are highlighted in new areas you unlock so should be the first place to go

It's better... but some parts are still pretty fucked up with the loading.

The shader compilation issues have been fixed at least.

Speaking of this game... I finished it earlier today.  :blessed:

Godly game overall.  I'll make a post in the "what are you playing" thread giving my thoughts on it in greater detail.. because while it is awesome.. it's not perfect.. and it's not a "97 meta" worthy game either.

    But still :whew:

Most worthy high 90s title recently. Shits all over BOTW, RDR2 and Mario

I tried to get back into the game, but the motivation wasn’t there. I think I should go back to the earlier areas and experience everything I have missed. I think cheesing my way with tricks robbed me of the full experience.

There's a weird distinction between the game which rewards exploration and the PVP which you basically need to research builds to be competitive

I think the best experience is probably just exploring single player on your own then doing PVP in NG plus

Even still I dont think I would get through most quest lines without guides. Its too vague for its own good sometimes

I stopped leveling at 125 because I assumed that would be the meta. It appears most people are stopping at 150 though. Makes sense, soft caps are higher and the game really pushes for Hybrid builds thanks to all the Hybrid weapons.

125 makes no sense, most people will get butchered in later areas at 125 and it really only allows you to be invested in 1-2 stats for soft caps

Some spells won't even be accessible unless you only invest in int and mind for example at 125

It's crazy because I mean.. at the core of it.. you just have to make a solid game featuring Master Chief and fans will eat it up..  The MP is good at its core..  They're just fucking up all the stupid shit that a company like MS should easily excel in..

The game was obviously NEVER even going to come close to releasing for the Series X launch..  It's just another example of MS mismanaging their studios.  Yea, no shit the fans are out of patience... 1.5 years+ after the game was originally supposed to come out.. and we still don't have co-op...  There's been no new map releases... they've barely done FUCK ALL.  It's pretty sad.  And they deserve it.

I guess so.  It's definitely going to be hard to take anything they say seriously ever again after this shit.

I admit now it's pretty clear how they operate.  Take ages to release a broken unfinished product, then attempt to stall while they fix it for years... eventually gets fixed when nobody cares anymore.  Repeat.

That's 343i's method of operation since the Xbox One generation...  I guess I just wanted to believe that after MCC, and the fact that they actually put in the work to fix that up and bring it to PC, that their shit would be in order for Halo Infinite.

Should have given Playground a run at Halo

Only dev MS should put faith in with their biggest IP

Awesome core game... but they COMPLETELY dropped the ball with content and features.

What a fucking joke.  Glad to see at least one person there realizes people are fed up with them.

Just terrible management all around.  Pathetic that a software company like MS... who's gaming consoles have always been online focused... who's franchise "Halo" has always been online and co-op focused... COMPLETELY drop the ball with these things.

This type of game should be the easiest shit in the world for MS to hit a home run with... :shake:

I still love the game, and think there's a solid base there... but man, the issues in the campaign still aren't fixed... no co-op still...

Just IMAGINE... if it would have launched in 2020... LOL

Anybody who wasn't deluded like you lemmshits saw this disaster a mile away

    343 are a joke

  9. Took 5 seconds of Googling to prove you're an idiot

MLB The Show 22 early access date

If you purchased MLB The Show 22 MVP Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition, you can play the game a full four days sooner. Early access for both versions began on April 1, no joke. The MVP Edition is only available on Xbox and PlayStation, but Nintendo Switch players can buy the Digital Deluxe Edition for this early access.

This early access is also available to Xbox Game Pass members via a special bundle. However, this costs $50.

Didn't read all of it but there's some noticeable information in there. Like how mismanaged the teams were, like how they didn't care that State of Decay 2 was a huge flop critically at launch because the GAAS would improve overtime or like how they just assign random tasks to newly formed team with no afterthought then break them up to form new teams on different tasks with absolutely no sense of cohesion. Or how Undead Labs is now the State of Decay factory studio who need to pump out sequel after sequel.

It's no wonder MS only produce safe trash from their first party. All they want is to have more content for Gameass and don't care about the quality.

MS is trash, every team working for them is on a downward trajectory
