  1. There was apparently an annual air raid drill which delayed things for at least 30min... and Nvidia will not be livestreaming the event.
  2. Also, wccftech got the time fucked up. 1:30pm Taipei time was for the registration, it will start in 50min from now.
  3. lmao yep. Make the window as big as you want... all the options remain in that little window you have to scroll down to access Not to mention the design and layout is needlessly unorganized.
  4. Yea, at least. It's garbage.. really. It's ugly and it's also not very well organized. They could make it much better.. so hopefully they do that at some point. I mean, look at AMD's interface compared to Nvidia's lmao... Nvidia's could be much better. They need to incorporate GeForce Experience and their control panel all into one lightweight app.
  5. I agree.. but Turing easily OC's 100mhz. It will probably be just a mem bandwidth increase.. but yea. I'm hoping they announce some other stuff too though. I would honestly love to see a complete refresh/redesign of their Driver software to be more modern, as well as framerate control and other driver level things people have been asking for forever.
  6. Probably licensing some 3rd party tech until they get their own shit up and running.
  7. So it's 1h till Nvidia's conference. I'm betting they bump the MEM and Core clocks of the RTX lineup as well as a bit of a price cut to stave off AMD's Navi announcements.
  8. Interesting to note https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2019/05/27/1850097/0/en/AMD-Announces-Next-Generation-Leadership-Products-at-Computex-2019-Keynote.html AMD High-Performance Gaming Updates AMD unveiled RDNA, the next foundational gaming architecture that was designed to drive the future of PC gaming, console, and cloud for years to come. With a new compute unit10 design, RDNA is expected to deliver incredible performance, power and memory efficiency in a smaller package compared to the previous generation Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture. It is p
  9. If not, the TF comparison between them will be pointless. Sony could launch an ~11TF PS5, and it could be just as powerful if not more so than a ~14TF MS console...
  10. lolz Anyway.. about Navi not being GCN... I'm fairly certain it's another derivative. RDNA is apparently the "gaming" side of their architecture (Navi) and Vega will focus on the "compute" side. I'm sure there's juuuust enough there for them to call it "new" but anyway.. it doesn't matter. There's a pretty good uplift in performance... although performance per clock isn't a very good measurement of GPU performance.. let's be honest.
  11. Exactly as I said... basically matched Intel in single thread...
  12. ^ I wonder that as well. I would think so, but you never know. Anyway, the 12core part will be the best for gaming due to clock speeds and 24 threads will be plenty for next gen games. 16 cores would only lower the clocks. Or, maybe they WILL continue to have a Threadripper line and will cap the consumer parts at 12 core as to not interfere with them? Anyway.. there's quite a bit of excitement. Navi's looking pretty decent as well. Nvidia has a keynote coming up in like 1-2 hours from now though. They're gonna rape Navi
  13. the fact that they used the 2080ti in the benchmark designed to show the limitations of the PCIe bandwidth LOL Nice one AMD!
  14. So they've basically matched Intel's IPC in single thread, and have much better multi thread performance. DAMN
  15. It's surprising to hear a huge company like Acer talk about them so candidly. LOL
  16. True. Also, it sounds like MS and AMD have a really strong relationship now. But the lack of mentioning RT sucks. It'll probably be on their architecture upgrade. It does seem like they're turning themselves around on all fronts though. Good shit.
  17. Maybe the 8 shader core per CU is true? In that case, while not *completely* new.. it would give reason enough to call it a different architecture. 64 thread wavefronts to now 32 thread. They can more efficiently thread the CUs.
