Yeah by far the best open world rpg combat.

Used all vocations to get their abilities and main with MK, I go solo at night and rape niggas left and right. Except Death.

Mystic Knight, such an OP class. Elemental weapon enhancer and tank with crazy AOE abilities.

That happens even if you don't exploit the game. The difficulty is so unabalaced.

Lol at the one shot motherfucker in DA. I'm about 2 hours in and getting my ass kicked with my lvl 55 MK.

Started Dragon's Dogma. Dumb question but is there a way to dodge in this game?

Not by default, a few of the vocations have a dodge/block/brief invulnerability window unlocked through ranking up and buying the core skill. Strider gets a dodge at 5 that's used by hitting R1+X (PS3), I'm not sure when other vocations get their equivalent. Well, that sucks. Whose smart idea was it to have a basic and standard mechanic found in damn near every game be a skill you have to unlock? Having a dodge would be very useful right about now, II keep getting mauled by a pack of wolves. I don't think I'm suppose to be venturing this far off yet. Yeah in the beginning you'll get raped constantly, buy a bunch of healing shit and just spam it when you're low on health.

Decisions..decisions..lol. I will take a break for a bit and then return to the genre. I felt like a crackhead playing p4g and p3 back to back in 1 month

I definitely prefer strong stories and characters over constant grinding. I would preferably want something I can play on my vita or 3ds. I don't care if it's old, as long as it still holds up well. Thanks!

The World Ends With You (DS) is right up your alley. There's no grinding in CT, it has time travelling and like 13 different endings, not too long either. It's literally perfect in every sense.

 

 

I beat p3. That was a long fucking final boss fight. Sad ending ;( very great game, though p4g owns it.

Oh for that level I took out all the damage boosting upgrades on all my weapons and just went ham.

Well, I just need one more level to SSS for the Jackpot achievement but the best I can get for Style points is SS. I can get SSS for Time and Completion but it's still not enough to get me an overall SSS rank. There's not enough enemy encounters in this level to rack up the Style points and the enemies you have to fight aren't the type you can farm on so I dunno how I'm going to do this. Maybe I'll just delete the patch and abuse the old Style point exploits I've heard so much about.

 

I just beat the game, you can get the SSS style easily during the final bit. I hate myself for playing this garbage, now all my hope for a good DMC is all gone.

 

 

 

 

So been playing some DmC these past couple days.

Same here It's pretty bad. The game is basically Heavenly Sword 2 from a gameplay perspective.It's awful. I put it away after like 20 minutes and I can already see how atrocious the level design was a couple of months. The combat just doesn't feel right either. I'm just so bored with nothing to play so I'm resorting this and Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen Playing DD too, I love how it has actual combat for an RPG although I wish it had lock on+dodge And is it me or does this game look rough, and run not so great on ps3?

 

Do you have Arisen or the original DD?

To those who played p3, did you find you had to replay areas to build up your characters? I'm at a point now where these mid bosses keep killing me. My best persona is level 32. My stats seem kind of low too.

Experiment with personas and try to transfer their best moves when fusing. Also finding the element they're weak to is very important (unless they don't have). Buffing up your party and using moves that degrades the enemies stats is very useful (forgot the names of them but there's a move that boosts your evasion and reduces the enemies accuracy so you won't get hit often). That's what I did most of the time, never really had to grind.

Well there are plenty of weird Otaku games like that which go beyond the extreme Ask Dark_Emerald, he plays them all the time.

Still digging p3. That hotel/mirror part owned. I'm now on summer break

yukari in the shower Lol that part was funny. Can you build a bond with her later in the game? yeah. you do some cute shit with her as part of the actual story too Nice! Lol I tried kissing that nerd chick and she got upset and cried, and our bond got ruined. Lol this game is too much. I'm also chatting with a woman on that mmorpg in the game. I have a feeling it's a dude Lmfao the MMO girl, that one was surprising.

I'm hooked on p3 now :/

I started p3. Damn, it looks so dated compared to p4g. I think I'll replay p4 and then eventually get to p3.

Doesn't Vita have the PS2 version? Honestly you should continue playing, it's one of the best games of all time.
