    yeah he's back

Im deep in the 4th area. The change in setting is very cool. The game also continues to introduce interesting new systems that add more variety to the gameplay. Other Souls-likes like Steelrising for example now feel so barebones in comparison.

yeah, the game is doing a great job at introducing features. i can't wait to break in the buffs for my spectres. i think one i purchased allows a player to spawn one at a random spot. another lets you refill their health during battle. i feel like the game does a great job at catering to the hardcore, while supplying enough tools for those who just want to slice through shit.

:mj: PC Gamer throwing that shade at Starflop. They really hated that game lol.

:hest: I don't blame them. Even though both games have very different settings I couldn't help thinking how much better CP2077 was compared to Starflop throughout my time with that game.

yeah, i will definitely give cyberpunk another chance now lol.

I heard the game gets really unforgiving later on and basically forces you to master the block and dodge mechanics or you’re pretty much screwed. I’m not sure I’m looking forward to that.

tbh I’m not really in the mood for tough as nails games right now in general.

yeah, i'm at a malenia type mini boss. fast af and will stun lock you to death.  she's doable with a long range weapon, careful dodges. extremely doable with weapon arts and weapon art consumables, and a cakewalk with grenades, thermite and throwing cells.

as for final bosses, you'll get the ability to buff your summon. i haven't used it yet, but it's wild. once you access the fruit tree, you can gain the abilities. one of the buffs trigger your summon (well, spectre) to generate aggro, while having increased health (you can just unload your weapon arts or launch items unscathed) . so, while playing it straight up (pure sword play and arm attachment) is the preferred choice for the hardcore, there are enough ways to drop the difficulty. i dare say navigating through words 5 and 6 have been surprisingly easy. let's see how it holds up.

Ahh, i didn’t know you could farm throwing cells. The merchants are all sold out of them so I only have a couple.

I’ll try to buy the electric weapon that’s one of the few im missing.

I just found a vendor in the 5th area that sells unlimited of everything. You just

    Spoiler

Need the mark by the graves just before the 5th world’s first save point.

I did an experiment with the throwables and totally nuked the 5th main boss without even using my sword. If you want to know the Items I used, let me know.

edit: that vendor is in the red lobster inn lol

Nah it was a solid game and it actually ran well even on the shitty 1660ti I had at the time.

we were pretty underwhelmed by it. some parts looked amazing, and others were junk. floating bodies (no cars); weird dialog glitches; game freezes. and the series x version was even worse lol (i won't even go there lol). i guess i just expected more from cdpr.

Let's not act like the PC version was anything close to as terrible as the console versions.  The PC was the best place to play this game at launch, and that remains true to this day.

it was awful lol. aside from some nice looking parts, it was clunky, even on the most powerful pc at the time (2080ti?). one of my artists got a beastly pc for this game and was underwhelmed (i was too when i saw it on his computer). sure, the consoles were worse, but the pc version was a shiny coated turd.

The MP was F2P, the game itself want F2P you retard :mj:

In other gaming news, Starflop is dropped down like a rock to no. 8 in the UK charts

yeah, only the half-based multiplayer (with no online co-op - the only reason to play Halo) was free. they should have just made the campaign free since it seemed half-baked too lol.
