What an awesome surprise this ended up being. I can't believe I glazed over this game so many times since the original release last year, all because of the dumb title.

i'd say maybe 15% of the puzzles are kind of bullshit and illogical but everything else about the game is great. Atmosphere, Characters, story, and the fucked up setting and imagery. The game is dark in ways I wasn't expecting but was pleasantly surprised by.

I don't want to go into more detail than that because I went into the game almost blind and I think thats the best way to experience it. All in all I think this is the best adventure game i've played since SOMA.

Lol this is not remotely accurate. They're literally using shitty chinese made golf carts with no armor or protection of any kind ON THE FRONTLINES because of vehicle shortages, but somehow they have warehouses full of spare equipment and munitions? Riiiiight.

But we don't play as those aging women in most games. Stellar Blade's character is clearly in her 20s, and she's supposed to be a trained soldier. In that context her physique is not THAT far off from that of a physically active girl in her 20s.

You have the time Twinblade.  If these games were as good as you said they were, you'd have finished them up promptly.  You're literally wasting your time playing games the way you are. 

 

New games aren't going anywhere... they'll be there when you finish the last one you started.

Yeah I like to play many games, which is why I don't want every game to be 50+ hours long. If that was the case and I committed to finishing them, I would be playing a fraction of the games i'd want to play.

Nah there's just too many long fucking games nowdays. Its the same reason why I didn't finish BG3 last year. I don't have the patience or attention span anymore to be able to dedicate so much time to a single game especially when there's others releasing on the horizon.

Its a 7 quality game so the reviews were accurate, but I wouldn't say its shit.

do they recommend a graphics mode? I liked Balanced in the demo, so I might stick with that for the full game.

The whole logic is just retarded. If you're a young and healthy girl in your 20s you are more likely to look closer to the Stellar Blade character in appearance than the fat slob above. So saying thats not a realistic body type but the fat one is, makes little sense. 

I thought jonb had given up acid, but I guess this thread is proof that he hasn't 

40 hours into Rise of The Ronin and with no end in sight I think I might drop it when Stellar Blade releases. The game is many ways AC: Japan which would be an incredible compliment a decade ago. But nowadays it just feels dated and bloated and the setting isn't enough to carry it all the way through.

I think trump is screwed. The current trial is only going to make things worse, but when you see results like this you can't help but think about just how many republicans are fleeing the trump ship

Im gonna pick this up. A shorter action focused game is really calling to me right now. Especially after all these bloated open world games that go on forever.

The Shogun finale.....was not what I expected  I think I need more time to process it, but I feel like they were building up towards something that never ended up happening. It was good but not at all what I thought a finale for a show like this should be.
