Lmao, Mareg is so diesel. It sucks that I already know the outcome but it's still a great game. There's a part when you first reach the Papal State and you're asked to find the Granasaber the explanation you're given is like "In the Legion of Darkness" and Ryudo responds "That's not vague enough, can you be less specific?", I couldn't help but laugh.

Yeah, I never played G1/G3 either, played G2 on the Dreamcast all those years ago and figured I'd need to re explore. I heard 3 is bearable if only for the combat alone, everything else is apparently cringe worthy.

G2's combat is probably my favorite RPG combat system. It's easier getting into SOA since it's not an entire series, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Yeah, I've heard good things about VI, just never got into FF as a whole. Maybe it was the REs, I FUCKIN hate random encounters.

What about the cast? I've only played a handful of FF games (IV, V, and half of IX/XII) but Baltheir (XII) was one of the better ones .

A lot of the complaints seemed pretty silly. Stuff like Towns I don't care for, I usually just run to where I need to be anyway.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of good about it so I'm going to pick it up regardless. Got like 5 hours left of Grandia and I'm hoping to get through both Metro 2033 and GoWIII next week so I can pick up XIII the following week. Gotta schedule dis shit.
