I think that would be awesome on a bigger much higher resolution screen. Maybe that could be why the reports are saying it's using LCD? Not sure you could do stereoscopic 3d on OLED.

Do you think this will be a final release for Switch or a launch game for Switch 2? 

I don't think it would make sense to have it as a switch 2 game. It was announced for Switch and there's a huge install base, even with that huge install base remastered only sold a million units. Metroid has never been a system seller but it would be a great way to send off the Switch. A Christmas release would be awesome before Switch 2 early next year.
