From footage sent to DF by Rockstar the game natively renders at 1920x2160 on the PlayStation 4 Pro, no checkerboarding. So if the former is indeed true the game renders at a 100% higher resolution on Xbox One X, we'll see but I don't doubt it for a second given there are much larger resolution disparities than this between the Pro and X. We'll have to wait and see but the game is going to be best on Xbox by a country mile, as if anyone had any doubts that it would be. Also, if they're not checkerboarding on the Pro then they're sure as hell not doing it on the X, which means it renders at 3840x2160 in some capacity or extremely near it given the "4K Ultra HD" badging.
