You buying anything?

VC4 is good. At $30 it's quite a deal. Paid full price and I don't regret it at all.

Good games, both pretty goddamn challenging too, I finished neither anyway.

But still trash next to VC4, go away with your indie shit. :pavarotti:  I'm trying to recommend Gookosan a great JRPG. Go away, Cocke. And @Goukosan, you gotta buy DQXI when it comes out on Switch, it exceeded expectations.

Yea I plan to get DQ XI, as far as VC4...I have the demo but I haven't gotten around to trying it out as yet.

Still gotta finish the Octaopath Prologue,  about halfway through mega man 11 and started messing around with DBZ fighters.

Gamestop appears to be selling God of War for the PS4 for the same price Amazon had it.

But, if its store pick-up only, then it would be the retail disc version. Which would make it a better deal than Amazon.

Horizon ZD Complete Edition is $10.

Wolfenstein II for PS4 is $15, that's not a bad deal.

DBZ fighters is my least like fighting game the past couple gens. I guess since I have zero knowledge or care about DB that probably played a part of it.

I liked DBZ as a kid and I was still disappointed. It's not terrible but it didn't hook me and I usually love the Marvel vs Capcom type of fighters.

I'll give it this though, the presentation and graphics are the closet I've seen yet to capturing what DBZ is.   At times it feels like you are controlling the Anime.

But I can't help but feel we would have gotten better fighting mechanics from a different fighting game developer like Capcom or Namco

It looks amazing, yes.

Nah ASW gameplay usually is better than this. But also far more difficult in term of execution. The blame is probably with Bandai Namco. Everything in FighterZ is over simplified to a point where it's a bit too simple. There's still some depth and more advanced shit but it never feels as good as it should to execute.

the graphics are great. The controls are slick but all the characters are so samey. Gameplay is samey.

If they put the time into it to differentiate the characters like the do in GG or BB it would be fantastic.

Seems ASW isn't doing that anymore with fighting games tho
