Xbox One / X 29% PlayStation 4 / Pro 32% Nintendo Switch 22% That's an increase in actual games being made. Switch hasn't even been on the Market for two years as yet.... when it launched in 2017 3rd party devs had zero confidence it would do well. Less than two years later confidence and actual developer activities are increasing. Big Games aren't made in a year. Yeah, big games aren't made in a year but they're generally known about a year or more in advance. So where are these games, what are they? You're also forgetting these are developers, not necessarily publishers, not the people who make these kind of financial decisions of what to and not to support. This also gives no breakdown as to what level of development these percentages correlate to, sure indie development has done great and increased considerably for Switch but the AA/AAA market again has remained relatively flat lined. I mean It's only January and PS4 and Xbox One will have seen basically the same amount of AA/AAA games Switch will see for the entire year. Edited January 27, 2019 by DynamiteCop! Lmfao at posting a full 2019 list in January.... full release calendars for both Systems for 2019 have not been released as yet. Since you are moving the conversation past GDC developer responses. People take the Switch seriously because of EXCLUSIVES. I know your dumbass does not believe that matters.... but the real world results of Systems sales show otherwise..... as the two systems with actual exclusives (PS4 and Switch) are literally selling almost 50% of the of the ENTIRE XB1 lifetime sales in one Fiscal year. The turnaround from Wiiu to Switch if maintained will mean a better starting point for support for Switch 2. Edited January 27, 2019 by Goukosan

Old games that look/run worse than their counter parts 90% of the time (unless its PS3/360 port) and cost 50%+ more on release. Yawn.

Yawn. The conversation is about developer support increasing. Not about system power. There's a huge market for taking your full console game on the go as shown by Switch sales. Being able to take the full DB fighter Z, DQXI S, Valkaria Chronicles 4, Mega Man 11, Resident Evil 4, Remake HD, Final Fantasy etc and Nintendo console first party games on the go with you appeals to alot of people....obviously not everyone... but alot of people. I know you hate facts and the real world, but in the real world there are less reasons to own an Xb1 when it has Zero exclusive software. In the real world you can experience the majority of games that are on XB1 without actually purchasing Xbox1 hardware.

You are still pretending to play Smash when there are like 5 to 6 AA+ games coming out in the next few months. All on Xbox, NONE on Ditch. You pretended to play Zelda DLC for a YEAR, and you are now doing the same with Smash, because you have NO choice. Try and tell me youd rather Smash or whatever rehash Nintendo exclusive over the barrage of quality 3rd party games. Fuck outta here Youre right, you can experience the games elsewhere. But guess where not? Nintendo Ditch, the gameless console. POS

Well that's not really true, if you're buying one console the Switch is most assuredly the worst you could get. Standing resolute it's the weakest offering out of the bunch with the largest assurance of missing critical medium and large scale releases. Then the latter two decision all depends on what you want, do you want the best multiplat performance and Microsoft's games or lesser multiplat performance and Sony's games? Sony has stronger game offerings at the moment but that doesn't override subjectivity in taste and best play experience for the 99th percentile.

JonDnD 2,795
Be honest dude, would you be happy with only a Switch? If you say yes, than your a Nintendo only fan, and not a real gamer. That's fine, but that's what it is.
