if theres one thing the next gen consoles need

Recommended Posts

its SSD's.

my ps4's hard drive takes forever just go to to the UI. replaced it with a ssd from 2014 and saw a huge jump in quality. this needs to be standard next gen along with the ability to change them yourself on both machines.

Yeah with game sizes and the load times, an SSD is a requirement going into next-gen; as they're only going to be even larger, or at least RDR2-size becomes the standard.

The ability to swap the drive too... We've been able to do this on PlayStation for well over a decade now.

100gb and it takes like 2 hours to install.

also gears 4 was like 150gb. but at least it downloads off the ms store super fast
