All new content will be made available for all players on all platforms at the same time. Cross-saving is being added to the game for allplatforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, PC). I figured Bungie wouldn't start making money off of Destiny on their own unless they made a Destiny 3. So Activision is giving them Destiny 2 immediately?
