Whole point was to downplay the fantasy and magic aspects, that was their sell to HBO. Hence why the Night King and white walkers meant nothing in the show. Meanwhile the books start with very little magic and slowly increase with each book. Total inverse to the show. Regardless, who gives a fuck, Vini talks about this more than anyone who hated it
Remij 4,683
Just proves what we all knew as true and obvious... as based upon the last few seasons. I mean... you can only fake it for so long. They obviously had the reference material... then once that ran out... it was just them... and uck
madmaltese★ 2,587
I remember saying how the writing felt like it was written by completely separate ppl as characters would do things that make no sense and disregard things that literally had just happened..........turns out I was right Didn't work in the same room then swapped lmao. Vini 430
Please.. they proved at the end of the last episode that they could've easily written clever dialogue, those scenes of the king and his circle were straight out of the first few seasons. They chose to go with a fast paced third act because RR Martin gave them like 3 more plot points after Season 6 and they wanted to get to the point. Vini 430
Plus these Dany stans would've still been pissed no matter how believable her transformation was.
