The Conservatives want to do an investigation into Trudeau on his connections to the WE charity, all oppositions parties supported it but now the Liberals have turned it into a confidence motion. Spicalicious 128 Posted October 21, 2020 Share Posted October 21, 2020 (edited) We all know that Trudeau wasn't being malicious in any way when he appointed the WE charity to distribute those funds. The WE charity is apparently one of the only organizations with the logistics to do that job and they were an ideal choice especially when this pandemic was such a surprise. It was quick thinking by Trudeau's government which should be applauded. Many people think that believe it or not. But the idiot conservatives who wanted to play politics decided it would be fun to put the kybosh on the whole deal crying about thievery and corruption. We were hit by a surprise pandemic and planning to actually use those funds to pay students who were out of work and not going to school. It would have provided the additional funds they would have lost out on when they would have usually had summer jobs an earned college tuition. The government understood this and thought the WE charity distribution to students would be ideal and it was for good reason. Because the Trudeau's know the organization and trust them. This was something that had to be done quickly. But oh well it didn't happen because of conservatives.. Parents with college age kids and teens will remember that. The liberal government had the foresight to see a few months into the future and realized that things were going to be different. They tried to implement this WE fund distribution to keep some sense of normalcy, especially since many stores, restaurants and other venues were going to close over the summer and the WE charity would reward younger generation of students pretty much get shit done while we were dealing with the pandemic. But no, stupid fucking conservatives wanted to play politics. Well if you want an election it will be much easier to get things done with a majority. Most people realize that.
