Apparently they were in talks with Nvidia to allow playable demos through Geforce Now at least on the PC side.

 

Maybe they'll have deals with Sony and MS for some kind of remote play shit?

this would make e3, in general, way better and more interactive for those who can't attend.

There’s a service called parsec that basically allows studios to upload game demos/builds and then give other people and companies the ability to stream them from their end. It’s how a lot of game journos have been previewing games throughout the pandemic. 
 
So that can definitely be utilized for a digital E3
