Activision Blizzard employees walkout after company responds to harassment and discrimination lawsuit
Around 200 employees of the video game company known for titles like Call of Duty and World of Warcraft staged a walkout on Wednesday at the Activision Blizzard headquarters in Irvine, California and virtually to demand better working conditions for employees, particularly women and other marginalized groups. Activision Blizzard has recently been sued by the state of California for alleged widespread sexual harassment and discrimination in its employment practices. The company released a statement following the suit denying the allegations, but the CEO has since said that the company's response was "tone deaf.

The employees there obviously dont read systemwars so they didn't see Twinblade call all of this bullshit. They are just wasting their time with fake news. 😏

they're really in trouble over this. Notice how COD 2021 still hasn't been shown. Game must be a trainwreck for them to hide it this long.

How is that related? Cod is not made by Blizzard or has anything to do with Blizzard, there's 14 other studios that work on the endless cod games.

Well it could be argued to a degree. Whatever has been going on there would have been easy to see, and nobody staged any kind of walkout or protest until now.

I'm not surprised by a lack of walkout of huge action, pretty much every company has corruption and will always punish the employees that go against it, but you think some would have blown the whistle anonymously or something.
