Having a GOTY nominee doesnt mean anything.

Yes it does.

Most successful platforms usually get a GOTY contender or contenders.

You are trying to downplay it................well, because you're a lemming, and Xbox never has a GOTY contender.:kaz:

Add on hardware selling to less than 5 percent of userbase is a failure. End of discussion.

And what do you think PSVR2 is going to do... in this economy... with far less PS5s out there :tom:

sell, just like the PS5's themselves.

poor guy...........you can tell he's really threatened by the PSVR2

he wants it to fail just like the PC VR industry failed..........so that he feels better

Take last sentence, and replace "PC VR industry" with "Phil Spencer"

Gee..........where I have seen Lemij behave this same exact way before? :hest::hest::hest:

it clearly isn't if they developed a successor to the hardware, and its even more high-end, which means they spent even more R&D money on it.

notice how REALITY doesn't fit with your narrative?:umad:

Actually they're not

here lemme demonstrate:

Valve:

First VR headset = Expensive and high-end

The next upcoming headset = they're coping Oculus and making a cheaper one running on mobile tech

Oculus:

First VR head (Rift) = Expensive and PC VR

Second VR headset (Oculus) = Cheaper and running on mobile tech

Third VR headset (Project Cambria) = Not intended for the GAMING MARKET, at all

Fourth VR headset (Oculus 3) = same level as Oculus 2, just with whatever mobile tech they can afford two years into the future, largely unknown

Sony:

First VR headset (PSVR1) = they literally developed no controllers, and decided to re-use old hardware (Move controllers), they used their existing PS4 eye camera, and they built a cheaper headset because they moved the processing unit to an outside junction box.  Everything about this design feels like it was rushed, and designed to be released immediately by not integrated much into the headset besides the OLED screens.

Second VR headset (PSVR2) = Best in-class OLED screen highest resolution and refresh, improved FOV, FIRST TO MARKET with real-time eye-tracking, designed controllers that will be mandatory with every retail package, haptics in both controllers and headset, and they have the developer tools to make it easy to integrate PS5 development with PSVR2 modes.  And by all accounts, its going to be more expensive.

So to recap:

Valve = they're going lower end

Oculus = they're staying in the lower end

Sony = They're going up the high end

Looks like you're wrong.:reg:

there aren't any REAL MAJOR developers announcing major games in that space

you are going to be eating whatever crumbs fall off the table from PSVR2 development

do you understand that?????????????

once again..............you will live like a second-class citizen.

you drink the water........................downstream

Sure they are.

PSVR2 is hardly advanced... LMFAO it's tethered for one..... and connected to a fucking console to top it off :lawl:

PSVR2 players (not you since you don't play games) are going to get some attempts from Sony to use their IPs to sell some VR games in the hopes that this time it's going to catch on.... but economic conditions  and competition are far harder this time around.  They'll do the EXACT same thing they did with PSVR.... and it will fail... like PSVR.

Lone Echo 1 and 2, superior as well.
