Chicano3000X 77
It just flashes blue and shows up as a local drive. Tested it on both my laptop and pc. My work is trapped for now. Anyone got an resources for how to fix this?
Twinblade★ 3,925
Try a data recovery program. I used to use EaseUS at a previous job and it worked well.

jehurey 3,238
out of all the hard drive makers, Seagate has always been the least dependable. That's why they are always on sale. I probably need to dig into my old back up files and throw away what I don't really need, and they group everything in an organized way, and then decide to move more-important stuff into a cloud stage account, and less important stuff into a decent SSD. Maybe put it on some flash drives as well so that I can just store those in some other location. Edited December 10, 2022 by jehurey

They are the only drives I use in the field for a video shoot. 0 problems and they are sturdy af.
