MS finally reveals Xbox sales data. 21m for Xbox Series X/S, 58m for Xbox One

So around 2:1 PS to Xbox... considering MS hasn't released any real big games yet this generation it's honestly pretty good lmfao.  GamePass definitely sold some consoles for them.  In that time Sony has released a ton of games..

Demon's Souls

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Returnal

Ratchet and Clank

God of War: Ragnarok

Horizon Forbidden West + Burning Shores

GT7

PS5 was supply constrained through the majority of those releases.  In no shape or fashion is Xbox being behind 2 to 1 so early in the gen "pretty good".

Now that supply constraints are no longer an issue, PS5 is experiencing triple digit growth every month consistently... While Xbox is experience negative growth aka declines.

That 2 to 1 lead on Xbox will increase significantly.

True, but I still think it's good considering the lack of exclusive software for the Xbox consoles.  Sony's been throwing their biggest guns out during this time.  It obviously means that GamePass has been selling consoles.  Apparently, if you believe MS they've been diverting Series X hardware to the cloud servers and that lack of Series X hardware could have something to do with lower sales as well.

I mean when you look at it... MS really didn't release anything all year in 2022...  That doesn't exactly inspire confidence in anyone to buy a Series console.. so they deserve the declines they're seeing.  I guess we'll have to see what happens when Starfield, and Fable and some of these other games release.  If they could find some cadence in releases and build some confidence in their ability to release quality games periodically, then things could start to change.

Yup, shows you how brainwashed US+UK are when a console with no games can keep selling for 10 years.

Yup, I knew Xbox One was a failure around 50 million.

WIth a userbase that's probably 30-40% less than the consoles sold, since alot of dumbasses bought multiple Xbox One consoles.

Some of them quickly were embarassed by their underpowered $500 2013 Xbox One that they quickly ran to get a Xbox One S in 2016, and then thought they would get 4K bragging rights, so they got Xbox One X in 2017 along with a broken port of PUBG.

Actual Xbox One userbase was probably around 32-35 million after it was all said and done.
