The judge ordered that MS must wait at least until 5 days have passed after the decision on the 22nd.. before they can close the deal. So that means they can still close this deal before July 18th.. And the reason why the FTC did it so quickly is because they have a very valid reason to believe that the deal has a possibility of going ahead in the UK one

People are speculating there will be an announcement of one soon, because Persona 3 Reloaded's additional platforms were announced today, and there was no mention of a Switch version. Persona 5 Tactica's additional platforms were announced and there WILL be a version of that for the Switch. So, assuming they do like they did with the other Persona games, Nintendo will likely announce it at a Direct that is going to happen soon. Kinda weird that they would announce P5T for Switch, but not Reloaded... but I guess maybe Nintendo is being tight on the number of announcemen

The FTC was just granted a TRO, which means that MS cannot close the deal for at least two weeks. The TRO doesn't kill the deal... the preliminary injunction is what kills the deal or not, and the FTC has to get both. So we'll know for sure in 2 weeks. Regardless where you stand.. it looks like Microsoft successfully got the FTC worried enough about closing the deal that they filed the TRO. Now we wait and see if the judge grants the PI.

Windows 11 should definitely ask you if you want to sync to one drive or start the PC as new. But yea, it goes to show why, despite the compatibility issues, the Steam Deck interface overall is just leagues ahead for a device of this type. If these devices continue to gain momentum, I could see MS eventually doing the bare minimum to make it somewhat easier.

It's easy enough to find good deals on the other components than the GPU. You could build a system with a 5800X3D, 32GB of RAM, and the rest of the components for cheap enough... but when it comes to the GPU.. you're gonna get fucked if you want anything to be actually future proof. 16GBs of VRAM is what you'd want... not because you truly need that amount... but because it accounts for developer laziness. That's the only way you can "future proof" your GPU purchase atm... and all those GPUs are extremely expensive still.

Nobody plays these games and uses every car. The points are universal, so you'll probably get more than enough points just playing the game normally to upgrade the cars you'll use. Yea. It looks like on Series X the game uses RT reflections on certain surfaces, and just screenspace on others. I noticed some of the reflections weren't updating at 60. Also, another thing I noticed is that in the menu when showing the car, some of the shots looks pretty bad with aliasing. I'm not sure if the Xbox consoles ever got the TAA that Forza Horizon 5 got on PC... but
