  1. Nah, but I think they're very cool. I want to build my own arcade cabinet.
  2. as well as... Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1, 2, 3 Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver Soul Blade Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, 3 Einhander Ridge Racer 1, Revolution, 4 Crash Team Racing Cool Boarders 1, 2 Alundra Twisted Meta 1, 2 The Legend of Dragoon Lunar 1, 2 Tenchu 1, 2 Time Crisis and a literal shit ton of other cool games in all genres. PS1 was the fucking BEST
  3. The Japanese one should be awesome though.
  4. Well that sucked. Who wants to see a CG trailer..
  5. I keep hearing people say how it sucks compared to PS4's. I'm not even a fan of PS4's in the first place either.
  6. First of all, 120 million people didn't buy Switches.. many people own multiple, and have replaced old ones. But yes... if not for portability or Nintendo's own games... why the fuck else would they? And no, I'm not projecting... Valve's highlighting the "portable PC experience" because they're currently trying to sell the device to PC gamers with Steam accounts and many games already... They've already advertised how the Deck is a fully functional PC, and they're coming out with their own Dock. The Deck appeals to PC GAMERS who want a console like experience either o
  7. Gouko and I are having an actual discussion. LOL this clown trying to act like any time someone has a discussion it's a "go-around"... because he can't hold one of his own. That's how you know I have him permanently butthurt. He doesn't even know why a "jerry-go-round" actually called that Notice how nobody started crying in this thread about the discussion.... until you came in here to do just that. You're literally trying to derail this thread, right now and make it about you And no sweetie... this thread isn't about only the Playstation 5... it's about all consoles.
  8. PS2 was great, but PS1 was amazing. I feel like I'm god damn crazy or something... how can people possibly like PS2 better than PS1 if you were of the appropriate age at the time to appreciate both for what they were? Crazy stuff mane
  9. It seems that way. When I bring up the fact that Valve could position Switch to compete directly with Switch, you're acting like there's differences which will ever prevent it from doing so. I don't get why you're saying this: "Deck isn't serving a vast majority of the users that Switch will serve based on the Switch being more than just a handheld." That just makes no fucking sense whatsoever. Deck serves anyone who wants a console like experience connected to a TV.. that's one of the goals... to provide a console like experience and ease of use, with the customiza
  10. What you're saying doesn't affect the Deck's ability to become a mass market device and compete in the console space at all.. Your post reads like someone damage controlling that Switch will still have a reason to exist, despite a future Deck competing directly with it... when nobody said otherwise.. Yes, we know people will continue to buy Nintendo products to play Nintendo games.... That's the biggest advantage the Nintendo consoles have. Deck doesn't need that. The Deck needs UI and OS refinements, and the right combination of hardware, price and performance. If
  11. lol Windows is fine. Windows 11 looks nice, and I'm happy with it so far... but this Xbox UI... nah fam. The icons themselves are fine, but it's just way too boxy. You have boxes, which form bigger boxes together.. and then scroll them in alternating patterns with boxed images behind some for advertisments... ugh, it's just bad. It's the Xbox designers specifically. Their Xbox App on PC is garbage as well. I hate the design of it.
  12. lmao With the "hybrid" market, as you're calling it... Deck has access and gets far more games. If you want to play any number of games portably... the only way to do that is with the Steam Deck (handheld PC)... there's no other way to play them in that fashion. Steam Deck doesn't need games built for it specifically... which is also one of it's strengths.. and why it gets far more games.
  13. Look at that fucking shit... Who in god's name designed that? Just endless boxes and ads with no flow or uniqueness to it whatsoever. It's incredibly jarring how it scrolls as well with the background images behind some of the groups. What a fucking ugly POS. I'll laugh my ass off if this hits officially like this
  14. https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2022/09/assassins-creed-mirage-ps-store-leak-confirms-cross-gen-release-gameplay-details This latest information comes from the PlayStation Store, as relayed by Tom Henderson. The yet-to-be-published product page confirms that Mirage will be a cross-gen title, meaning that it's set to release on both PS5 and PS4. There was a bit of speculation that the game might drop last-gen consoles, but given Ubisoft's track record of releasing its tentpole titles on as many platforms as possible, we don't think this is hugely surprising news. Oh, and the pa
  15. lol dude, the Deck platform will get far more "exclusives" in the context of games that Switch wont get.... just as PC already does over consoles.
  16. Well so does the Deck, and it will in the future as well. They'll both serve the exact same methods of gaming. The ease of use could force people one way, or another depending on their preferences. It'll be just like the console/PC markets.
  17. Oh for sure. I'm just talking about that market in general. Valve has a lot of work to do, Switch 2 will already be well well established by the time that happens.. That's even if Valve has aspirations to directly compete like that in the first place. Regardless, currently the objective is to build up the platform (software, support, UI, ect) and now that they have a product in people's hands they can get an idea of the work they need to do and push in whatever direction it takes them. But, even today it's true that there's now a new market of Swi
  18. Another cross-gen AC I'm not saying I wont like it... but god damn I wish next gen would really kick in.
  19. No lol. Valve aren't going to be ready any time soon. Switch will be a distant memory by the time that happens. Valve won't even consider it until Deck 2 or later. But remember when I say that... that Deck will be a far more fluid platform than Nintendo will ever have. Valve can release hardware on a whim because they can adapt to changes in technology more rapidly... whereas Nintendo consoles and generations come with expectations. All I'm saying is that eventually Valve will have built up the foundation for a platform, and when the right hardware/price/perf
  20. Just watched Reggie talk about it. Indie developers are 3rd party developers. Making the development environment easier benefits everyone, Nintendo included. I'm not convinced they were seeking more ports of 3rd party games from big publishers in the beginning... it just resulted from the success of Switch... due to the massive support of indie games.
  21. Well yes... I've been saying that since the very beginning. Of course it's an "if" because it obviously isn't yet. But you're acting like it could never be...
