The combat is good. This isn't a first person twitch shooter lmao. It's one of many moving parts in this game. Do I think the enemy AI on voyages could be improved? lol yes.. but it's great for PVP and serves the game well. It's not meant to be solely focused on combat.

And you're left with 3 clunksoles that largely play the same games and don't do anything else And to top it off... you also will upgrade your PC anyway

I already said the Epic store has it's problems with that. You never said EGS in your post. There's literally TONS of other shit to play offline on PC though. As I already said... this isn't a game issue... it's a Launcher/Store DRM issue. Complain to Epic about it.

That's not really the games' being reliant. That's the stores DRM coming into play. Yes, EGS has issues when offline. No argument from me there.... but as if to say there's nothing you can play if your internet goes out for a couple hours is an exaggeration.

On PC

Who cares? Computers are fucking useless without the internet anyway. And come on... there's a lot of games you can still play with no connection on PC.

lol I don't know about that. It would have to have some very cool interoperability with PC for me to care. Remember, I'm building a new PC, so the current one I have (which is still better than next gen consoles) will be in the living room and the old one can be retired

Yea, I was thinking about that too. Motherboards are the one thing that I'd never really go higher than midrange for. As long as the VRMS are good quality, and there's a decent amount of I/O ports for what I need, I'm happy, as my days of really overclocking hard are past me. After mid-range you're pretty much just paying for luxuries which I wouldn't even make use of. B550's would have been good as well, but many of them are apparently already selling at higher prices than some x570 boards I've heard.
