I don't care for either actor. Kind of fucked up to say but glad Majors is having legal issues with that woman that could get him kicked out of Marvel movies, he acts the same in everything he's in. Same with MBJ

Creed 3 did suck, despite my least favorite actors being in it I still watched it one night expecting it to be worst, but what makes the plot so unbelievable? That the guy gets out of prison and becomes the next big challenger of a world famous fighter?

    Spoiler

A guy without a single professional fight, after being in prison for over a decade and zero boxing training in that time ('oh I kept myself fit' lmao) comes out and gets an instant world title shot (would never in a million years even be sanctioned by Nevada Athletic Commission or any commission), they sell it as if it's this huge marketing ploy (would literally be rejecting by ever promotion in history) and then actually beats the world champion.....

The number of failed GAAS has really puled up in the last few years. Sony will probably suffer the same fate.

This wasnt really a GAAS though. That was it's selling point. It was a looter shooter with a story/campaign and an actual end point.

  3. Thought this was interesting cause we rarely get a proper insight into how larger games that launch on GP perform financially.

But Outriders was considered a big GP hit and was constantly spoken about how GP can help a games sales on other platforms.

However the developers themselves state that the game as of March 31st 2023 has still not returned a profit:

"Furthermore, in accordance with the development and publishing agreement signed on February 16th 2016 between the parent and Square Enix Limited to develop Outriders, since the game was completed and released on April 1st 2021 the Group is entitled to receive consideration in the form of royalties. Their amount is directly linked to and represents a percentage of the profit earned on the sale of the game.

"The Group received no royalties from the publisher for the period to March 31st 2023, which means that as at the reporting date net proceeds from the sale of Outriders were insufficient to recover the costs and expenses incurred by the publisher to develop, distribute and promote the title."

That means that the GP deal didn't even get close to covering costs as GP deal + sales on PS and PC have still not turned a profit in the game.

Saw Creed 3 last night. Lol I am a fan of Micheal B Jordan but I can see what Sylvester Stallone didn't even want to see this. It's not that it's so bad, it's just so not as good as the previous ones and tbh 2 wasn't that great.

Majors is great in this movie. He could have carried the movie too if Jordan didn't try like five times in this movie to win an Oscar or something. The plot is the least believable of every movie in the Rocky franchise.

I actually just watched it last week also and thought it was incredibly average to say the least. Easily the worst creed movie and like you said has such an unbelievable plot line that it nearly completely takes you out of the movie.

@-GD-XYou might like The Devil's Hour on Amazon Prime. Im on ep3, and while its a slow burn it has a strong 'the fuck is going on' type of vibe similar to mystery shows like From/Lost.

Literally my fav vibe in shows/movies and unfortunately my love for  the show/movie usually nosedives when I find out exactly what the fuck is going on :D

I mean it could be boring if you think its boring. Or it could be a bunch of fun, space exploration.

For me it's definitely looking like it's gonna be boring. Found No Mans Sky boring, I hate all those giant realistic space games and this game seems far too big and random for my liking. Usually enjoy Bethesda games for exploring every little part of the specifically designed map and discovering everything they created in it but this just doesn't seem to be that at all. Still hoping it hits but the more and more I hear about it the less for me it seems to be. Maybe I just mainline the main quest.

Yeah its actually good design, especially since it means there's an element of surprise when you discover a planet because you don't know if its going to have life or not.

It is, but that as a positive is also something that will only last for the first couple hours or sessions. After that it's just gonna be tedious dropping in planets to mine resources No Mans Sky style then traveling to other random planets.

Things that sound cool or real very rarely translate to fun gaming. Usually same goes for games that incorporate eating, or realistic healing (think MGS3) or exercise (think GTA San Andreas), etc. Cool in theory and for first couple times, much less fun over time especially in games of this size.
