  1. Early af, actually. I was messing around with the skyview tower and was able to make it to this structure on the most northern area. You’ll need to have 2 extra bars of stamina, though. I guess you can make a consumable to reach it. But there are all kinds of weapons, shields, armor, etc. there. It’s easily the best looting spot I’ve found. I bet YouTube will have an easy guide for it (look up where to find hylian shield).
  2. No clue. I’m close to the one in the northwest area, so I’ll knock that out first. I know the south west one gets too hot (don’t have the gear for it) , and requires too much stamina (unless I did something wrong).
  3. I have just been doing the shrines, which have surprisingly been pretty great! Way better than BOTW’s. I have some pretty good loot , so I should probably try out that dungeon.
  4. Yeah, those are fair. Mainly the pin one.
  5. Eh, it does nothing for me after playing the Souls games. But I do like what happens when you fuse a bomb flower to a shield
  6. I do love build variety. That’s my only gripe with Bloodborne.
  7. So far, almost all of my issues with BOTW have been addressed. The combat is still meh, but I never expect good combat in a Zelda game.
  8. Elden Ring got a 10 at GS and has a 96 meta, yet it’s not as good Dark Souls or Bloodborne. Hence, scores lol. I still love Elden Ring, but it’s too bloated. Too many repetitive bosses.
  9. Tony Hawk 3 was the best game in the ps2/xbox/gc generation lol
  10. No real gamer takes scores seriously. True gamers will put the NES, SNES, PS1 or PS2 at the top. SNES curb stomps the Switch.
  11. I think it’s good to have a somewhat guided intro that builds momentum for its open world. That way, you have a good idea of what’s in store. Just my opinion. This is probably the best intro for a 3D Zelda (the first 5 hours are usually zzzzz).
  12. I wish BOTW had started with this pacing. II have enjoyed the 4 hours I’ve put into the intro more than my 15 hours I had spent with BOTW.
  13. Ya, when I exited the tutorial. I don’t have the paraglider.
  14. Yup. Just got there. That gliding part I’m very impressed with the scale in parts.
  15. Ok, the gliding part out of the tutorial OWNED!
  16. Will do man! I’m definitely due for another challenging game
  17. In terms of the experience, I forgot how much I loathed the crafting in BOTW. I think I’m done for the night. It definitely doesn’t have that “crack gaming” feel I get from Fromsoft games.
  18. That’s my biggest gripe. Though, some parts genuinely look amazing, considering the hardware. The FOV is pretty great for the Switch. But I’m sure it came at the cost of lower quality assets, especially shadows.
  19. that's exactly what i'm going to try out. i'm going to fire up disco elysium: directors cut since it was only $3 (lol at paying $35 on consoles).
  20. if i could play this at 4k and 60 fps, i would. but..i would buy a copy and give it to a friend, so i wouldn't feel like a shmuck.
  21. going to retry this on sunday, but with different games. i was able to play zelda this afternoon on the switch undocked with no problems. edit: i hope i won't have any issues, since i absolutely love steam os, the hardware itself (godly joysticks and quality build) and what it's capable of.
