I said Xbox games.........not multiplats.

And would the Xbox sales of those multiplats be bigger than the sales of those Switch games?

I mean, Smash Bros, by itself and WITHOUT counting digital sales in the month of March, almost eclipsed Devil May Cry 5 combined sales of all three platforms. We know that the PS4 is far and away the majority of those sales.

Multiplats are games, and there's this many that topped March that aren't on Switch.

And a third of the NPD Top 20 are Switch games.

There's 4 platform that they are counting from, so the Switch occupying a third of that list seems like the platform is doing just fine.

At the end of the day you have 5 games on that list that remotely reviewed well, the rest are ports from previous gens (GTA5, Borderlands, Minecraft) and they rest are just games that are mediocre.

Alot of mediocre games selling well.................oh boy, according to your logic that NOT a good sign if they have no other choice but to buy lackluster games like Anthem, Jump Force, Battlefield V.

Plenty of options. There's no way for you to get around that simple fact.

Do PS4 exclusives occupy a third of that list?

Do PC exclusives occupy a third of that list?

Do XBox exclu..........LOL why I am bothering typing out that question.:tom:

Exclusive games don't displace a massive hole in multiplatform titles. The reality is there's only three exclusive games out of that 20, 3... 1 belongs to PS4 and 2 to Switch. A game, is a game, is a game.

As a Switch owner you're not only at a massive disadvantage in terms of amount of releases, but also the time in between them. PS4 and Xbox users have a heap of AAA games to play in between first party releases, Switch owners do not.

And multiplatforms that aren't as good as exclusives don't displace the massive hole of good exclusives.

You're not getting around that.

See, let's convert it to percentages:

That NPD Top 20 list is comprised from 4 platforms.

1 platform is 25% of the platforms.

And that 25% has 30% of all the top selling games from the NPD Top 20

The other platforms constitute 75% of the platforms, and they have 70% of the other games.

Now..............who punching above their weight?:jasonj:

You can't have Xbox take credit for PS4 and PC creating developers that would've never developed games for your failing console.

I'd rather have 8-10 high quality multiplatform games a year than 1-2 high quality exclusive games, anybody with half a brain would. The Switch is the most limiting platform on the market bar none, it's cut out from so many games it's borderline pathetic.

And I'd rather have Game of the Year winners that mediocre sequels that will never better.

Better is better.

And the best are exclusive.

And that's how the Xbox is actually the most limited platform, because they're gimped. For years. You will never play a Game of the Year winner on your Xbox. That's just a fact.

Pretty sure I just played Red Dead Redemption 2 a few months ago, pretty sure I played the best racing game in existence also.

Pretty sure it lost to God of War quite soundly, as well.

Y'know..........an exclusive? (can't believe you walked into that one).

LOL How many awards did Forza Horizon 4 win now?:tom:

Yeah that's what I thought. Listen sweetie, this is your inexperience on this forum that's hurting you. Do you know who tried to make that same argument before? PS2 fanboys. And I easily slapped them down with the same exact argument about GoTY winners.

And that's the PS2..............you can only imagine how much I'd slap you around with the Xbox One which doesn't hold a candle to PS2.:hest:

This whole argument is made to tip-toe around the Xflop's colossal rape by the PS4.

PS4 and Switch serve a purpose, Xflop doesn't. There's no need to compare Xflop to Switch.

That's the bottomline.

For some saying inexperience is hurting me you don't seem to conform to your own logic.
