DynamiteCop 2,087
https://www.windowscentral.com/microsoft-patents-xbox-braille-controller-visually-impaired-gamers The Braille panel in the back seems to constantly adjust itself, so that gamers who are blind or have other visual impairments can read the text through the back of the controller. That's not all though, the patent says that the controller will also be able to convert speech to Braille, allowing users to communicate in chat or when they're livestreaming. I'm amazed Nintendo didn't do this for Switch, the whole platform is a visual impairment Edited May 7, 2019 by DynamiteCop!
Remij 4,690
That is cool as hell. I'm really interested in seeing what they come up with for the next controllers, and that goes for both Xbox and Playstation.
lynux3 2,119
These will be specialty controllers, not mainstream, but Microsoft is doing work for people with accessibility issues. Good stuff.

Some people can't see subtitles or chat but can still make out what's happening in a game, not that they're blind they just have very poor vision.
