Here's the difference.

 

Ninja Theory is using Unreal Engine, an engine that debuted on PS5 and what was shown looked better than some render they showed off 10 months ago. Halo Infinite is using Slipspace. Xbox Game Studios' in-house developed game engines are a decade behind, easily. :mj: The Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Geurrilla Games engines all blow this trash out of the water.

Of course it is, this is a vertical slice in unflattering conditions. Do people really think the rest of the game is going to look like this? Of course it won't.

There's nothing bland about it, it looks like Halo. This is the art direction wanted, it was just not a great set of conditions to showcase it.
